"Deborah designed an outdoor retreat space for my family here in Singapore which had many restraints placed on her. The previous space was subject to variable lighting and water runoff from our roof which ruined the grass and created mud which our children spread throughout the tiled spaces. We wanted the space to be family friendly, peaceful, durable, low maintenance and not too expensive. She listened and worked with us to identify our needs and produced a design and product that we are exceptionally happy with. Her professionalism and personable conduct was outstanding. Deborah considered the eco psychology side of the design by considering the child friendly and dynamic dimensions of the space. All our neighbours have commented on the extension of the green space that this has had on our immediate surroundings. The water feature has added a relaxing background chattle to the courtyards. The increase in birdlife has been a noticeable characteristic of the new plants in the garden, with sunbird visiting regularly throughout the day to feed on the plants. Deborah was always open to communication channels and assisted in providing not only the planting list and design but suitable locations for the suppliers of these plants in our local area.
